Honey or another sweetener (optional)

Berries to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds to 200-250 ml of milk.

2. Chia seeds absorb liquid quickly, but it's best to leave the mixture in the fridge overnight.

3. Once it's thickened, add honey or another sweetener (optional), mix it up, and top with your favorite berries.

Fun fact about chia:

Chia is an annual plant that produces two types of seeds, black and white.

Summary:

- Chia seeds are among the top sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically the "good" kind we all want more of — Omega-3, not Omega-6! Omega-3 helps reduce inflammation.

- Chia is rich in fiber and minerals. The fiber helps regulate blood sugar levels, preventing sudden spikes, so you stay fuller longer. It also supports gut health as chia forms a soothing gel.

- It’s also a great source of high-quality protein.

There's no one who can't enjoy chia, as it's packed with benefits — that's why it's considered a superfood.

Enjoy!
